The Ottawa Public Library is a wonderful resource, located just across the parking lot from EOM! They have a great book collection as well as offering many special events and workshops. They also have lots of virtual (electronic) resources. If you don't have a library card from the Ottawa Public Library, you should get one — they are free for residents of the City of Ottawa!

CBC Books is the webpage for book lovers! Here you will find booklists, book reviews, and interviews with Canadian authors. This is also the place to discover Canada Reads, the annual book debate, the winner of which is described as the book every Canadian should read.
Freedom to Read
Free a challenged book! Freedom to Read week is celebrated every year in February. It encourages Canadians to read and learn about challenged books, and raises awareness of our right to intellectual freedom and freedom of expression.
